-

Tower of London + Crown Jewels + Beefeater Meet & Greet

Private Windsor + Eton
One of my favorite ways to spend a day outside London. Travel privately to Windsor to explore the castle, charming riverside surroundings and neighboring Eton—with the flexibility and relaxed pace that makes a private tour worth the upgrade.
-

Borough Market + Leadenhall Food Tour
Come hungry. Taste your way through two of London’s most atmospheric markets with stops for local specialties, wine and cheese along the way. It’s part food tour, part neighborhood experience—and a fun break from traditional sightseeing.

London Street Food Taxi Tour
See a completely different side of London from the back of an iconic black cab. Your driver-guide takes you through the city in search of great street food, local markets and neighborhoods you may never discover on a typical sightseeing route.
WHY PLAN LONDON WITH ME?
Questions? I’ve got answers.
-
For most first-time visitors, I recommend Westminster, St. James’s, Covent Garden, or the surrounding areas—but the best neighborhood really depends on how you want to spend your time.
London is much bigger than it looks on a map, and two beautiful hotels at the same price point can give you completely different trips based on location. I look at what you want to see, where you'll be spending your evenings, how much you want to walk, and whether you're traveling as a couple or with kids before recommending a hotel.
When I plan your trip, I’m not just looking for the prettiest hotel within budget. I’m choosing the hotel that makes the rest of your itinerary work better.
-
For a well-located, upscale London hotel, I typically recommend starting around $400–$600+ per night, although rates vary considerably by season, neighborhood and room category.
This is also an area where having a travel advisor can make a difference. I compare more than the nightly rate—I look at room size, location, cancellation terms, breakfast, available amenities and any preferred-partner benefits I may be able to add.
Sometimes the hotel that looks $50 cheaper online isn't actually the better value once you compare everything that's included
-
Absolutely. It's one of my favorite European cities for a family's first international trip.
There's enough variety to keep everyone interested—royal history, castles, parks, museums, Harry Potter experiences, afternoon tea, West End shows and easy day trips—but pacing matters enormously with kids.
As a mom, I don't build family itineraries as if children are tiny adults who can sightsee for ten hours straight. I'll help you balance the must-sees with meals, downtime and experiences your kids will actually enjoy.
-
I recommend at least four full days for a first trip, but five to seven is even better—especially if you'd like to include Windsor, Hampton Court, Oxford or another day trip.
The biggest mistake I see is trying to fit too much into each day. London isn't a city I want my clients racing through. I organize sightseeing geographically and build your days so you're not bouncing from one side of London to the other.
That means more time actually experiencing London—and less time staring at Google Maps trying to figure out where you're supposed to go next.
-
For many of them, yes—especially during busy travel periods. Popular attractions, afternoon teas, West End shows, special tours and experiences can sell out or have limited availability.
When I'm planning your itinerary, I also pay attention to when things should be booked. It's not helpful to have a 10:00 AM tour on one side of London followed by a 12:30 reservation somewhere completely impractical.
I help put those pieces together in the right order so your itinerary makes sense once you're actually on the ground.
-
Very—but London is much larger than many first-time visitors realize.
I plan days by neighborhood whenever possible, combining sights that naturally work together and then recommending when it makes sense to walk, take the Tube, grab a taxi or arrange a private transfer.
It's one of those small planning details that can completely change how a trip feels. You shouldn't come home from London feeling like you spent half your vacation commuting across it.
-
Yes! You don't have to hand over your entire trip to work with me.
If you enjoy planning your own sightseeing but don't want to sort through hundreds of London hotels, I can help you select and book the right property. Hotel-only bookings do not have an additional planning fee, and when available, I can also secure preferred rates, amenities or benefits through my travel partners.
If you want me to handle the bigger picture—hotels, experiences, transportation and how everything fits together—my custom itinerary planning service is designed for that.
-
This is one of my favorite parts of planning London.
Depending on your travel style, I can incorporate things like private touring, a Champagne experience on the London Eye, afternoon tea, West End tickets, special dining, private transfers to Windsor or experiences outside the typical sightseeing circuit.
The goal isn't to make every moment expensive or “VIP.” It's to figure out which moments are worth upgrading and where a simple pub dinner or afternoon wandering through a neighborhood is exactly what the trip needs.
That's how I make an itinerary feel personal rather than like something you could have copied from Pinterest.
