Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento
The wedding venue
Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento is a 5-star boutique hotel located on the cliffs of Sant’Agnello, just outside the center of Sorrento. Overlooking the Gulf of Naples with views of Mount Vesuvius, the hotel offers a quieter setting while still being only about a 10-minute drive from Sorrento’s main square. The property blends modern Mediterranean design with classic Italian coastal style, creating a relaxed but elegant atmosphere.
The hotel has around 60 rooms and suites, many with private balconies or terraces and sea views. Amenities include a cliffside pool, rooftop bar with sunset views, fine-dining restaurant, spa, and a private beach club accessed by an elevator carved through the cliff down to the sea. A complimentary shuttle makes it easy for guests to travel between the hotel and Sorrento’s historic center.
This is also where the wedding celebration will take place on September 25, 2027, making it a beautiful and convenient option for guests who would like to stay right at the venue.
Nightly rates vary by season and room type, but average between $550–$780 per night, with sea-view rooms often being a little more. (Exact prices will be updated when booking becomes available).
Luxury Alternative
Grand Hotel Cocumella
Grand Hotel Cocumella is the oldest luxury hotel on the Sorrento Coast and is set within a beautifully restored 16th-century monastery. The property is surrounded by large botanical gardens and offers a quiet, elegant atmosphere just outside the center of Sorrento.
Rooms feature a classic Italian style with marble bathrooms, and the hotel includes a large outdoor swimming pool, multiple restaurants, and several terraces overlooking the sea. The property also offers private access to the waterfront below the cliffs.
Because of the expansive gardens and peaceful setting, it tends to feel more secluded than many hotels in the area. It also allows for this to be a great option for kids.
